Attempted alien clay sculpture by TinyAna Attempted alien clay sculpture by TinyAna
LOL, I know this is bad, but this is just to show what happens when I get carried away. The book fair I ran a few months ago had a space theme and I made some alien crafts to decorate the fair. I wanted to make an alien sculpture, but then I found out I can't actually sculpt clay and should probably never do it again. (This never showed up at the fair.)

I think it should have been at the fair- looks pretty alien like to me!

At first I had it holding a miniature book in both hands with its head down to give the appearance of reading, then I couldn't get it to look right and wasn't happy with the sculpting results, so I just posed it to make it look frustrated or confused. lol

That actually looks pretty good. Only thing I see that's really missing are thumbs. :)

lol, my brother didn't understand why I only put two fingers and two toes. I tried to give the excuse that nothing says that aliens must have similar body parts as humans. But the real reason is that I just have a lot of difficulty making or drawing hands and feet. lol

Nothing wrong with that, kinda like an alien sloth. :)
